Wall of Art

Me: Posts about how I'll post again the next day
Me: *Doesn't do it*
Ashley: Ha ha remember when you said you would post the next day. Me too. But you haven't.

SO HERE IS ME POSTING SO MANY DAYS AFTER I SAID I WOULD. Listen, my printer was out of ink. It's a valid excuse. Also, I had a midterm that week and the week after that. It's not my fault. I'm also clearly so bad at saying I'll do this the next day so next time I say that (I'm talking to you Ashley) don't believe me!!!

Anyways.
I asked Sammy what I should write about and she told me to write about the different art that I have up on my wall. Some of them I did myself, most of them are from my favorite magazine/of my favorite bands/movies, some are actual famous artworks, and the rest of it is old pictures of family or polaroids of my friends.

Here is what my small wall of art looks like now:

I used to have it on a different wall in my room but I thought that having it above my desk fit better in my room. Plus it's nice to look up at it when I'm doing homework and need a break for a second.

Here are a couple of my favorite little art pieces I have up on my wall. I got them from Rookie I don't know how long ago, but I love them.

These are the ones that I have done (the four guys are one of my favorite bands).

This was actually my final project for my graphic design class
in high school but I still love it. One of the few things I've done
that I'm actually really proud of.

And here are some photos of me and my friends:

And two of me, my parents, my grandpa, and my fat-ass head nephew.

(I immediatetly thought of those killer clowns back in
September/October of 2016 when I saw this lmao)

(I want that shirt)

And some more art, by more well known artists:
Keith Haring

Frances Canon
"The Two Fridays (Las dos Fridas)" by Frida Kahlo
-- Someone everyone should look up to.
From Ambivalently Yours

How can you not love this show and/or Andy & April. One of the most iconic TV couples.

Now And Then is such a fucking good movie. I just saw it for the first time this past winter break with Scott and Sam. I'm mad that I haven't seen it sooner because it's THAT good.

If you know me AT ALL, you know that Almost Famous is my all time favorite movie. I can watch it multiple times in a day for weeks and weeks and never get sick of it. The only movie I've been able to watch Kate Hudson in and love her. I want to marry William Miller, and also Billy Crudup is a fucking BABE in it. He looks like George Harrison.
If I was going to be any character in Bob's Burgers, it would be Louise.
Obviously I have to have Tim Riggins up on my wall. Great show, greater man.
The Simpsons is one of the greatest shows on Earth.

Sam started a movie list, so if anyone has any movie recommendations LET ME KNOW! We will add it. (Especially if they're scary movies!!!)

These are all the people who have (just to name a few) who have shaped me into me.

Hinds -- the four piece lo-fi band who has been one of my favorites for YEARS.
They wear what they want, wear anything that's comfortable, play what they want. They will call out people being assholes but they can also be the nicest people ever and so supportive of everyone.

BARBIE FUCKING FERREIRA! THE QUEEN OF ALL FUCKING QUEENS!
She is so confident and does not give a fuck what anyone thinks about her. She's such an inspiration to anyone young or old. She speaks her mind and loves herself. Barbie is one of the biggest reasons why I've learned to love myself.

Last is Diana Veras.
She just recently did an interview with Asos about her style and her confidence. Just like Barbie, she's a great inspiration and great role model for young women. They both know what young women go through in this society, and it's important to have role models like them.
